These are brand new 421cc 68mm big bore stock appearing Assassin II cylinders.
This is the updated, upgraded new version of one of the best performing cylinders on the market!
This kit is designed to be a bolt on, and will take a normal Banshee into the next level!
These come ported to maximize your powerband, and make an insane amount of power.
These cylinders are the new design from Driveline Performance which include 68mm Nikasil bore, triple exhaust ports, larger intake and transfer ports.
Cylinders are machined to specific heights so there are no spacer plates required, just use your standard .020" base gasket. Stealth look!
The 421cc kit is designed to be used with a 4mm long rod stoker crank (58mm stroke, 115mm rods).
The port specs on these cylinders are 194 exhaust and 121 transfer durations.
The exhaust port is much larger than a stock cylinder so peak H.P. will be much higher.
The last bike we put on the dyno with the 421 Assassin cylinders: 93 octane, Shearer in-frame pipes, V Force reeds, 35mm PWK carbs, 6 degree timing advance = 88 HORSEPOWER!
Kit includes:
2 x cylinders Nikasil plated to a 68mm bore size.
2 x Wiseco forged 68mm custom piston with a 9 degree dome angle and custom intake window design, rings, wrist pins and circlips.
2 x rubber water jacket plugs.
1 x .020" base gasket
10 x stock style head studs.
2 x ARP style stud nuts
Updates for the new 2nd generation:
1) INTAKE TUNNEL ROOF HAS A SMOOTHER TRANSITION.
2) BOOST PORTS WERE ADDED TO THE INTAKE.
3) THE OUTSIDE CYLINDER AREAS AROUND THE BOOST PORTS WERE FILLED IN SO BOOST PORTS CAN BE MADE LARGER WITHOUT BREAKING THROUGH. THIS EXTRA MATERIAL HAS CAUSED THE USE OF AN ARP NUT ON THE REAR OUTSIDE INTAKE STUD.
4) TRANSFER TUNNELS WERE MADE LARGER AND NOW REQUIRE THE USE OF A .020" CUB BASE GASKET. THE INTERNAL BORE SIDE WALL IS ROUNDED FOR BETTER FLOW.
4A) THE TRANSFER DIVIDER RIB IS SHORTER AND LOWER TO ALLOW FUEL FROM THE BOOST PORTS TO REACH THE FRONT TRANSFER WINDOW EASIER.
5) THE OUTSIDE OF THE CYLINDER AROUND THE TRANSFER PORTS WERE EXTENDED TO GIVE MORE SEALING AREA AND MORE ROOM IF ADDITIONAL PORTING IS DESIRED.
6) THE FRONT EDGE OF THE TRANSFER WINDOW IS SLIGHTLY ANGLED FOR BETTER FLOW.
7) THE EXHAUST PORT SHAPE HAS CHANGED FOR MORE AREA AND FLOW.
8) THE TRIPLE PORTS ARE LARGER AND THE TRIPLE TUNNEL WAS INCREASED IN SIZE TO MATCH.
