An Oil Cooler Bypass Line Kit for a Honda TRX450R removes the factory oil cooler from the oil circuit and replaces it with a direct hose/line so oil flows straight through the engine without passing through the cooler. These kits are commonly listed for 2004-2005 Honda TRX450R models.

What it actually does 

Think of it as deleting the radiator for your oil. Instead of routing oil through the front-mounted cooler, the kit creates a shortcut loop.

Why people install one

1. After engine failure/rebuild
   If an engine grenades internally, metal debris can hide inside the stock cooler. Some kits are marketed specifically to prevent old debris from re-entering a rebuilt engine.
